I need to say a huge thank you for everyone who has donated clothes and toys for our Christmas visit to Anqing Orphanage. Special mention to the Bostancic family who filled the 2nd box of stuffed animals, I am sure they will bring endless smiles to the orphans - THANK YOU!
Joshua caught the bug that's been going around, he came down with a fever over the weekend and has stayed in bed pretty much all Saturday and Sunday. He is feeling much better this evening... and we are praying that the fever will break so he will have a comfortable flight tomorrow. I know many of you are praying.
Jin and I spent the afternoon preparing ourselves for the changes ahead. We watched a video of another adoptive family online, trying hard to picture ourselves and how we would feel.
Josh asked me tonight, "Mommy, will you cry?"
"Tears of joy, baby", I replied.
"Did you cry when you first saw me, too?", came his next question.
"Of course, darling. Lots and lots."
We're getting ready to have our hearts expand to increase our capacity to love Miranda... as if it hasn't already begun to do so!
Stay tuned... and good night!
