Miranda is 21 months and 8 days old today!
She is beginning to figure out that she doesn't like the idea of being brought to the church nursery. Instead of being left compliantly as before, she made sure to kick up enough fuss to tug at Daddy's heart... but she cried for several minutes, and was soon able to be distracted and stayed happily until she was picked up. She was rewarded with donuts after church, which she happily chomped at!!
Joshua and Daddy experimented with baking soda and vinegar in the afternoon, setting off their cosmic rocket in the backyard! It shot up about 4 storeys high, and landed 15 feet away from launching point! They must have set it off at least 5 times! Miranda learned that "up" means toward the sky! She now happily points heavenward when we say "up!"
