Mommy and Joshua just came home from our third rehearsal for the Christmas musical in church tonight.
Titled, "Christmas: Where, When & Why?", the underlying storyline is about several kids who go around interviewing different people about their favorite memories of Christmas - where did it happen, when did it occur, why is it a day that you always remember?
It got me thinking... wouldn't it be swell if our family's favorite Christmas would happen somewhere in China this year, when we get to hold Miranda in our arms, because she is God's special gift of love to us this Christmas? Just this week, CCAA's website was updated for referrals up to August 9. That means that we woud be less likely to receive our referrals in the next batch, potentially dashing my dreams of an extra-special Christmas!
Where are you, Miranda? When are you coming to us, why is it taking so long?
