Happy 4th of July!

We attended the 4th of July festival at Vienna town in the morning, and watched fireworks at McLean in the evening. Thankfully it stopped raining for the fireworks at 930pm. It was Miranda's first fireworks experience.. and she was initially very excited to watch it. But as soon as the lights went out and the flares started, she was terrified. She clung to us and screamed for the first half.. but eventually settled to enjoy the remaining show. Fortunately the music was loud enough to drown her out, she didn't disrupt anything. Ask her now.. and she'd say, "I had fun watching the fi-wer-werks!"
