I'm a Dentist!

Phew! Finding a new dentist for Miranda since our move has been trying! This week, we tried our 3rd pediatric dentist, Dr Jack Weil.
Her first 2 experiences : she cried the moment they examined her teeth, even refused to let the first dentist clean her teeth. On the contrary, Dr Weil's practice invested time to earn her trust and confidence. Nurse Casey (pictured below) spent at least 15 minutes helping her feel comfortable with the visit, allowing her to play dentist on her little baby, and even shared her kangaroo which had a full set of teeth!
Miranda gave baby a ride up and down the dentists' chair, a full mouth examination, brushing, and even used the dentist's mirror on baby. Finally, she allowed nurse Casey and Dr. Weil to examine her mouth....happily! When she left the clinic, she told me, "I had fun!"
They must win the award for best pediatric dentist in town!
