BACK HOME SAFELY... AND THE PREPARATIONS BEGIN

We arrived into Charlotte Friday Nov 24 at 9:52pm. The 14 hour flight home from Shanghai felt short, since we slept 80% of it. Joshua had fully recovered from his 24-hour stomach bug, and was able to enjoy the movie "Cars" while eating his dinner.

It feels good to be home! Though we did not get a chance to meet Miranda, we're glad we mailed her a package. With the address being "too remote" for the international carriers, it would have been next to impossible for us to have done that from the US!

Now... the preparations begin. We will have to book our flights for December. Joshua and I were counting, we will be on 9 planes, to make all the connections from Charlotte to Singapore, to Shanghai, to AnQing and back! *shudder* Not fogetting the travel notices, adoption paperwork and getting ready for Miranda's homecoming in January... all in the next 3 weeks.

Thanksgiving... we will be celebrating our family Thanksgiving tomorrow night. Since Josh was in bed with the stomach bug all day yesterday, we did not get to have our Thanksgiving meal in Shanghai. We cannot let this Thanksgiving pass as a non-event, since it is by far the most significant Thanksgiving yet.. celebrating the referral news of Miranda! Thank you, Lord!
