My Baby Brother is here!

Miranda visited Jonathan at the hospital during lunch time and again during dinner time today. During her first visit, she didn't seem to care very much about her baby brother. She acknowledged him in the bassinet, and then climbed onto me and asked, "Is there still another Jonathan in your tummy?" Other than that, she didn't appear very interested in her baby brother.

During her second visit however, after Joshua held Jonathan for some time, she reacted to that with "I need to carry him too!". Which resulted in her holding him for a prolonged 10 minutes while our friends arrived, and she basked in the full attention of being "Big sister". She definitely felt proud, but there were many occasions her hands left her brother and would accidentally hit him in her animation and excitement. Note to self : not a very reliable babysitter yet.
