Our little girl is growing up quickly! Some recent milestones:
1. Scissors skills -she wields the scissors like an expert! Guess who gets to clean up shreds and shreds of snippets all over the house?
2. Alphabets pretty well - with the help of Leapfrog DVD series and the PBS series, SuperWhy!
3. Writing her name - she had sufficient practice writing out Valentine cards for her classmates.. and can manage the 75% of her name accurately. What an achievement!
4. She is also starting to recognise her numbers.
5. Musically, I notice she is beginning to show some tonal inflection! She used to be SO tone deaf, but at least I can begin to make out melodies from her tunes now.
6. Reading - she often reads her favorite book to me instead of the other way around - her favorite being "Dora's Sleepover".
7. Chatty - gosh, this is like bullet train non-stop. She is ever spewing words and phrases.. even if there's no content. She just can't keep silence. It can get annoying at mealtimes, sad to say.
8. Growth spurt - I think she recently had one, she is much taller, and all her pants are suddenly too short for her!
9. Ballet - she is totally into her ballet class with Joy of Dance! She LOVES Miss Adrienne, and will not miss Saturday morning ballet lessons!
10. Snacking - favorite phrase, "My tummy is soooo hungry!". Honestly, she probably eats the most snacks of everyone at home. She's a bottomless pit.
11. Meals - her apetite has improved somewhat. She ate 2 slices of pizzas for dinner tonight, for instance.
