This afternoon's storm cut our power from 4-8pm. So, in lieu of modern-day entertainment, I laid out some Crayola murals and a host of painting supplies in front of the bay window, and the kids painted for over 2 hours! These murals are large - 2 1/2 ft by 3 1/2 ft!

No... it was a coloring sheet. He probably could, though! they both tried painting with brushes first.. then brought in the markers and crayons. It's mixed media!
