She is growing steadily, and is very healthy! She is on the 25th percentile for weight and 5th percentile for height. Still a slow and small eater.. but we are weaning her from chocolates (pretty successfully). She now drinks from a cup at meal times, and uses the potty very regularly (but we're still on pull-ups throughout the day).
Her vocabulary is growing steadily. She now speaks non-stop and has started having conversations with her dolls. She was playing with her dress-up wooden doll and kept asking, "Do you want to go to school, or church? Did you like it? Shall we go to lunch? How about some green shoes? This green dress is nice for you!"
Colors! Oh, her colors! She is finally showing signs of getting them! She definitely knows green. And Pink! Yellow and blue she still mixes up. Black, white and brown are what we're working on now. :)
At her recent pediatrician visit, she was given 2 shots. She complained a little, but it didn't last long. She did however feel the soreness all afternoon and was a little whiny and clingy. When Daddy came home from work, she complained, "I got 2 ouchies today!" Daddy asked, "Where?" She lifts her arms and with a creased brows, tells him emphatically, "The Doctor hurt me!"
She can be pretty dramatic. After buying some instant coffee at the supermarket, she tells Daddy (who is the sole consumer of coffee) - "We bought coffee... FOR YOU! Randa and Mommy went shopping .. ALL DAY for it!"
